Gentian, artemisia (wormwood) and elderflowers grow wild in Valle d'Aosta and are used in many local recipes.
La Valdôtaine Bitter combines the pleasant sharpness of artemisia with the sweet fragrance of elderflower and the bitter taste of gentianoot. To these we add other essences such as orange peel and licorice root.
The result is a perfect harmony between the freshness of the Alps and the subtle perfumes of the Mediterranean.

Colour: the golden amber notes come solely from the infusion, with no other colouring added

Recipe
AMERICANO VALDOSTANO
40 ml Vermouth Verney
40 ml Bitter
Soda
1 Slice of orange
Method: Pour Vermouth Verney and the Bitter into a rock glass filled with ice. Top with soda and stir. Garnish with a slice of orange.
