The Sexton single malt Irish whiskey is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled for smoothness in copper pot stills. Aged in oloroso sherry butts to achieve a depth of flavour from the wine imbued barrel that surpasses it's years. A whiskey rich in hue with perfect balance of dried fruits and subtle oak notes with a smooth, lingering finish bottled at 40% ABV

Tasting notes
Nose: Aromas of nuts and dark chocolate are followed by marzipan, spice and fruit. Palate: The refreshing palate reveals mellow honeyed malt and oils. Finish: woody, with notes of Sherry.

Best enjoyed neat, over ice, or in cocktails
Recipe
The Sexton Bury the Hatchet
50ml of Sexton single malt
25ml Lemon Juice
12.5ml Gomme
Top with Soda water
15ml Pedro Ximenez
DIRECTIONS: Combine Sexton, lemon juice, gomme and pedro Ximenez. Pour over ice. Top with soda water.
Product history
Sexton Irish Whiskey was conceived in Northern Ireland and is the brainchild of Master Blender Alex Thomas who is one of the few female whiskey blenders in the world today. To create The Sexton, Alex paid considerable attention to the maturation process,which has resulted in an ideal balance between spirit and oak.
