WINE CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE DUBOEUF 12X0,75L 13,5°

Cod. VIN0026
It was the Popes who, when they settled in Avignon in the 14th century, revealed the terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Under the reign of John XXII, the village became the
summer residence of the papacy. As for the precious nectar elaborated in theselaces, it reached the rank of "Wine of the Pope". This consecration opened the door
to the great European courts. The vineyard extends over the communes of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Bedarrides, Courthezon, Orange and Sorgues. Situated at an altitude of 10 meters, the territory of
the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape stands proudly in the heart of the Comtat plain. The rolled pebbles, one of the trademarks of the appellation's terroir, have the particularity of restoring to the grape bunches the heat storeduring the day. They thus contribute to a perfect ripening of the grapes. The subsoil is mostly made of red clay. Thirteen grape varieties can be used in the composition of red Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Brilliant deep garnet color. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape reveals a powerful, elegant and complex nose. Rich aromas of ripe fruit, truffle, mushroom and undergrowth dominate, accompanied by the spicy and wild notes of the Provencal garrigue.
